My “real” full-time job is with the Sheriff’s Office as a K9 handler. (Former State Trooper K9 Handler) This job has to come first. I cannot always work in the shop every day. Woodworking is what I do because I love to do it but the Sheriff’s Office is my primary responsibility.

The boxes with the Top carved is $900. You also receive a carving of your choosing on the inside and front if desired. The leather can also be designed.

If you want to add a valet to your box, that is $75 to make it work where it slides back and forth, inside the box. Or course the valet can be used outside of the box as a place to keep the things form your pockets at the end of the day.

Something carved on the front, back or sides, 

The Leather can be Citadel Blue or Tan

2D Inside can be an image or Text  like a bible verse or message.

If you want a 3D carving on the inside.

When you are ready to send the deposit and get on the list, please send me an email with the subject line, "I'm Ready" and I will send you a link for payment. barry@the1842.com

Once you have paid the deposit and have been placed on the list. I will spend as long as it takes to get your box arranged exactly how you see it. I will send you an email that you are on the list and request the information I need in order to get started. Normally I only need your cadet's full name, company, and year of graduation. You can add any extra information to help me make this a special keepsake that they will pass down for generations. I use USPS for shipping but pick up is always the preferred method.

The deposit is $500 to get on the list which kicks off the process. ($50 of which is for shipping) I can take your credit card using PayPal, Venmo, Apple Pay or mail me a check. Once that is received your box goes on the list to be produced. 

When I get to the group that your box is in, I will send you a second request for the final payment ($450). You have 10 days to secure payment. Please make sure I have a good email for you.

From Thanksgiving until the first of the year, I work on things for my family. I will do very little in the shop. You may not see much progress on my list at that point. I take a week off in the summer with family and anytime I have a request to make a piece for a fallen soldier, or Law Enforcement I take the time to make it to fit the burial/ceremony schedule.
